Reaching out during Covid-19
COVID-19, Once again India Canada Association pays back to the community
As the situation with COVID 19 continues to evolve. Most of us are starting to complain about the lockdown because we are getting “bored” in our homes.
There are people out there working everyday, putting themselves at risk, exposing themselves just so we can stay alive, healthy and safely. Let’s help those who are working at the forefront. Let’s be kind. Let’s do whatever big or small we can do to those who are out there everyday while we are not. Let’s be kind human beings.
We, India Canada Association, took an initiative to deliver prepared food to these heros at Windsor Regional Hospital.
Be kind, be safe. Wash your hands, maintain social distance, and let’s flatten this curve together, as one.

Members of India Canada Association of Windsor and Essex County continues to give back to the community. This time delivering food items to The Downtown Mission of Windsor.

2012 – ICA donated $ 5000 to Dandilion Cancer Researh Project
2011 – ICA donated $ 3000 to University of Windsor to set up scholarship programs

2009 – ICA donated $ 35000 to HD Grace Hospital in support of Angioplasty Program
2008 – ICA donated $8000 to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (Windsor-Essex County Chapter)
2007 – ICA donated $ 3750 to the Children’s Aid Foundation
2001 – ICA Raised $ 6421 for Gujrat Earthquake Relief.
1991 – ICA contributed $ 10,000 to Hotel Dieu-Hospital to acquire MRI equipment
1990 – ICA donated $ 8000 to the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
1989 – ICA raised $ 4000 for Metropolitan Hospital, Windsor
